How do I create a new floating window?
Open PopFS and click "New Window" on the Main Screen.
How do I keep a window always on top?
Go to "Settings" on the Main Screen and turn on "Always on Top". Your window will now stay above all other apps.
Can I adjust window opacity?
Yes! Go to "Settings" and choose your preferred opacity percentage to make the window more or less transparent.
How do I save favorites?
Click "Edit" or "Add" on the Main Screen to manage your favorite websites.
What is the Liquid Glass effect?
Liquid Glass makes your floating windows look beautifully translucent. Turn it on in Settings for a sleek, modern appearance.
How many floating windows can I have?
You can create unlimited floating windows with PopFS. Each window operates independently with its own settings.
Does PopFS work with all websites?
Yes! PopFS acts as a standard web browser and works with all websites. However, some websites may have specific requirements or restrictions for third-party browsers.
How do I cancel my trial or subscription?
PopFS is a one-time payment (HK$30 for lifetime access), not a subscription. If you don't want to buy after your 7-day trial, just do nothing - you won't be charged.
Which macOS versions are supported?
PopFS works on macOS 12.0 (Monterey) or later.
Is my browsing data private?
Absolutely! PopFS does not collect, store, or transmit any of your browsing data. All your favorites and settings stay locally on your Mac. See our Privacy Policy for details.
Troubleshooting
Windows aren't staying on top
- Check that "Always on Top" is turned on in Settings
- Update to the latest version of PopFS
- Quit and restart the app
- Restart your computer if the problem continues
The app won't launch
- Make sure you have macOS 12.0 or later
- Check for system updates
- Reinstall PopFS from the App Store
- Contact us if it still won't open
Favorites disappeared
Your favorites are saved on your device. If they're missing, you may have reinstalled the app or cleared its data. Once deleted, favorites can't be recovered unless you have a backup.
Can't change opacity settings
Try these steps:
- Close the window and open a new one
- Quit PopFS and open it again
- Go to Settings and check if the opacity slider works
- Contact us if the problem continues
